135. Free or Almost-Free Festivals

The Toronto free or almost-free festival season is on full blast and from now into September, the problem is choosing what to do on a weekend. On June 4 & 5, in addition to Carassauga in Mississauga, there are Italian Heritage celebrations at the Columbus Centre in North York, the Muhtadi International Drumming Festival in Queen’s Park, and the Korean Spring Festival at Christie Pits (Bloor and Christie). The Italians are offering free food. 🙂

Do consult our www.TorontoMulticulturalCalendar.com which I try to update at least once a week. Follow us also on our www.twitter.com/torontomulticul which gives last-minute reminders with web-sites for more information. Tell me about events I’ve missed at ruthlormalloy@gmail.com. It’s hard to keep up with this amazing abundance of wonderful opportunities. I need help.
