Linda Malloy sent us the poster for the upcoming Christmas Flower Show at Allan Gardens, a Toronto tradition. This opening offers free horse and carriage rides, hot cider and cookies, and children’s games. Be sure to note the dates for seeing the conservatory by candlelight, a lovely time for meditation. This show is not part of Toronto’s gravy train. It is necessary for the mental health of city dwellers to get in touch occasionally with the beauty of nature. Ruth.
