573. Harriet Tubman Kwanzaa (Feast) – December 27, 2015

What? Annual Kwanzaa Celebration.
Where? 2900 Midland Ave., Scarborough M1S 3K8. (Monsignor Fraser College – North Campus’s Community Hub)
When? The 2nd day of Kwanzaa (Kujichagulia) Sunday, December 27, 2015, 12:00-6:00 P.M.

Why? Celebrate with family and friends and learn about Kwanzaa, a 7-day festival celebrating the culture and history of the African peoples in the Diaspora. It is a time of celebration, community gathering, and reflection. Food, gifts for children (as supplies last), guest speaker on Kujichagulia (self-determination), performances, group activities. Show off your best cultural dessert by contributing to our potluck table.
