Thanks to P. Anne Winter, I just heard about the free “Date with Dance: An informal encounter with art”. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see classically-trained Indian bharatanatyam dancer Nova Bhattacharya and her “use of the form in a contemporary aesthetic.” Yes, it’s free and at the Sony Centre (Front and Yonge Streets).
