Readers of this Blog might remember last year’s exhibition and sale of refugee art.  Below and on our Featured Image is a painting from that 2016 exhibition by an anonymous  Iranian artist who spent four months of her five prison year in Iran in solitary confinement blindfolded. She survived because she imagined beautiful images – butterflies and flowers. See: https://www.torontomulticulturalcalendar.com/2016/04/14/637-beyond-fear-and-loss-refugee-art-april-2016. Ruth
