The European Day of Languages has been celebrated in Europe on September 26th since 2001 as an initiative of the Council of Europe. It promotes lifelong language learning and stresses the importance of intercultural understanding. The day will be divided into two parts: 1. Program for high school students: An interactive event with a singer and performer Mike Ford: Students will be involved in writing a song in a few languages and participating in short language learning activities. 2.
