Special multicultural event for Toronto Emergency and Fire Services, co-sponsored by the Canadian Intercultural Dialogue Centre and the Turkish community. Staff of the two emergency services will join in sharing a centuries-old recipe for Noah’s Pudding.
Making Noah’s Pudding is a traditional practice among Muslims and Christians in the Middle East as a gesture of goodwill and fellowship. Sharing the pudding symbolizes a civic responsibility to maintain good relations with neighbours of different religious beliefs and cultural backgrounds.

A presentation will explain the historic significance of this offering, followed by the attendees enjoying the Noah’s Pudding dessert together.
