North America’s Largest Ukrainian Street Festival 2013

 This is one of my favourite festivals because it is very colourful, well organized, and consistently Ukrainian. Non-stop entertainment with Ukrainian performers from North America and Ukraine. Dancers, vocalists, musicians & art exhibit. Dance lessons. Youth segment. Zabava street dance Friday and Saturday evenings. Vendor kiosks with Ukrainian food and beverages, souvenirs. Sidewalk sale. Midway. Long and very colourful parade at 11am Saturday morning which usually includes politicians. Film festival Saturday and Sunday.

12-4pm. Free lunch including perogies (Ukrainian dumplings) at Ukrainian Canadian Social Services, 2445 Bloor St. W. Donations appreciated. Space limited.
