Robbie Burns Day

When:
January 25, 2013 – January 26, 2013 all-day
2013-01-25T05:00:00+00:00
2013-01-26T05:00:00+00:00

Scottish national day celebrating the birth of the poet and national hero Robert Burns who wrote Auld Lang Syne and Comin’ Thro’ the Rye. No party is complete without whiskey, poetry, and haggis (sheep innards, onions, fat, and oatmeal cooked in a sheep’s stomach). For our report on the 2012 event in Toronto: http://bit.ly/WM2mDr . Mackenzie House will celebrate, but unfortunately, Metropolitan United Church will have no Robbie Burns Day event this year.
