The Nile Association of Ontario has offered its condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack on a Coptic Church in Alexandria, Egypt on New Year’s Eve. In an e-mail to its members, it writes, “We are deeply saddened by this attack and extend our sympathy and prayers to all our fellow Egyptians dealing with this tragedy… In an effort to help the victims we have started a fund-raising campaign where all donations made will be sent to the Church directly…If you would like to donate any money, you can do so at any TD Canada Trust branch using the following account information: ‘The Nile Association of Ontario in Trust’ TD Canada Trust Branch #93 account number 5223929. Or you can send a cheque to ‘The Nile Association of Ontario in Trust,’ 81 Primrose Crescent, Brampton Ontario, L6Z1E1… The campaign will be open until the end of January.”
