Ruth writes: As we celebrate four wonderful years of researching the many affordable events available to us all in multicultural Toronto, we welcome the help of volunteer Kasey Keeley Weir.
With the donation of thousands of my photographs to the Multicultural
History Society of Ontario (MHSO), I had to find time to caption them
so that someone other than myself would know what they are all
about. Thanks to Kasey, I now have that time.

Kasey, who graduated this year with a Master of Information from the
University of Toronto, is now in charge of updating and listing the events in
www.torontomulticulturalcalendar.com. We are fortunate to have her join us.

You can send information to her about ethnic festivals and films, interesting religious services and multi-faith discussions, anything that helps us appreciate and learn from the cultural diversity of this city.

We still try to restrict these events to those that are free, but we do consider those with an entry fee of no more than $15. If an event is unique, we might think about $20. We hope that everyone can afford to go to them. Her email is: tmcKasey@gmail.com.

We are grateful to Guest Bloggers who want to tout Toronto as a great multicultural city too. In the past Emmanuel Gallant, an immigrant from France has written several blogs. He has just launched his own “educational website on diversity and inclusion.” See:
www.interculturalconnection.org. Best of luck, Emmanuel.
It’s been great to have reports with the fresh passionate eyes of Japanophile P. Anne Winter, another volunteer. She has also been sending us information about Japanese cultural events. We look forward to new volunteer Laura Little who wants to write about vegetarian offerings in ethnic restaurants.

Our thanks especially goes to Michael Malloy who has been covering the expenses of this enterprise and to Linda Malloy and Tina Vinogradov who have come to the rescue  when we needed technical help. Thanks go  to the thousands of people who have viewed our Calendar and Events. We very much appreciate the interest of our readers and hope you will share your adventures in our culturally diverse city. The address again for blog queries is: ruthlormalloy@gmail.com.
