621. Black Lives Matter Protest – March 2016

I dropped in to see the Black Lives Matter protest at Metropolitan Police Headquarters on College Street yesterday afternoon. I didn’t need to talk with anyone. Their signs stated their position clearly.

I noticed that the demonstration was well supported by non-Blacks as well as Blacks.

Donations of food and water were abundant.

Protesters seemed happy to talk with everyone, so if you are downtown near College between Bay and Yonge, do drop in and ask why they are spending frigid nights out of doors.
