  1. A comment from Rita: The World Fiddle Day at Fort York was outstanding, with over 80 violinists performing everything from Irish, Canadian, South American,
African, Chinese (Jasmine Flower), Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, musical pieces. So much to see and hear at different venues! All wonderful. The first performance of World Fiddle Day was held on a church lawn three years ago with thirty spectators. Last week-end’s performance was attended by over 250 people (I would think) . The Guest Artists
included Dan MacDonald, Rosalyn Dennet, Yosvani Castaneda (from Cuba) and Mark Marcyk of Yellow Bucket. Hope to go to the Yiddish festival at Harbourfront.
