Yo Yo Ma’s film Music of Strangers is about master musicians from around the world playing together and making great new music together. The famous Chinese cellist brought together a Spanish bag piper, Hmong lusheng piper, clarinetist, Chinese pipa player, etc. I saw this film in July and loved it because it shows that beautiful things can be done when different cultures work together.
